12 CATALOGUE 2026 A HIGH ENERGY TRANSFER • Little borehole resistance • Big ΔT 1°C temperature raise in the heat pump gives a COP improvement of 3%. ADVANTAGES OF THE Turbo Collector® • Turbo Collector® has a borehole resistance of 0,07 K/(Wm), which is 20% lower than the standard collector. • Measurements show that the borehole resistance stays equal with low flow. • The pressure loss is equal to the square of the debit, so twice the flow rate = four times higher pressure drop. Pump energy is directly proportional with the pressure drop. So, less pressure drop = less pump energy of the circulation pump = less costs. ¹ Measurements are done with 28% ethanol on 10°C and 5.3 litres per minute, without filling. ADVANTAGES FOR END USERS • More energy gives a higher COP of the heat pump – a saving for the customer! • Unchanged mounting technology for the standard collector. • The collector can be re-used when the heat pump is replaced.
