This development leads to a better warm intake. A patented further development of the standard probe with a flat inside. Because of the grooves on the inside the Turbo probe has a significantly better warmth transfer capacity towards a standard probe. The Turbo probes are delivered from the factory standard with a protective U turn and integrated weight. The choice here in weights is of 5 and 15 kg. The length of the probe foot with the integrated weight is 320mm (5kg) or 550mm (15kg). Turbo probes are delivered in lengths of 50 until 300 meter and are tested in the factory. The pipes are produced conform INTA SBS 12201 EN 12201:2003. The warmth transfer of a geothermal probe is measured with what’s called “borehole resistance”. A lower borehole resistance means that there is transferred more heath per meter. Research has shown that the turbo probe has a borehole resistance of 0.119 KW/m, which is about 15% lower in comparison with flat pipes. Besides this the borehole resistance if also dependent of the flow, the medium in the exchanger, the bottom material, the groundwater level, the groundwater flow and the temperature.
